What we collect
When you place an order, we collect your name, mobile number, email address (if you give one), delivery address and the details of your order.
When you write to us through our contact form, we keep your name, your phone number or email, and your message.
If you review a product after delivery, we show the name you give and your review on that product’s page, once we’ve checked it.
If you ask us to tell you when a sold-out shade is back, we keep your mobile number until we’ve sent you that one WhatsApp message, and for 90 days at most.
To stop abuse such as fake orders, our website briefly keeps the internet (IP) address your device connects from.
Why we use it
To process and deliver your order, confirm it with you on WhatsApp, check your payment, email you order updates if you gave an email address, and answer your messages.
Who we share it with
We share your name, phone number and address with the courier who delivers your order.
Our service providers for website hosting and email delivery handle your details only so we can run the shop.
We never sell your information.
Your bag and cookies
Your bag and your wishlist are kept in your browser, on your own device. After you place an order, a cookie that lasts 15 minutes shows you your order confirmation.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
We count visits and page speed with Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which use no cookies and never identify you. We also count, as totals only, which pages are opened, the site or app a visit came from, the approximate city and country (worked out from your internet address, which we don't keep) and the kind of device, as well as which products are viewed, added to bags or saved to wishlists, and what is searched for. That uses no cookies either and never records who you are: a note kept on your own device just stops one visitor counting twice in a day.
If you come to us through one of our campaign links, the link's name is remembered on your device for 7 days and noted on your order, to show which of our posts brought you.
We send you offers on WhatsApp only if you tick the box when you order; we add you once we've confirmed that order with you, and you can ask us to stop any time.
How long we keep it
We keep your order details for our accounts. IP addresses kept against abuse are deleted within two days.
A copy, or deletion
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Send us a message through our contact form or on WhatsApp.
When we delete your details, your name, phone number, email and street address are removed from your orders, reviews and messages. The amounts and the city stay in our accounts, with nothing that identifies you. If an order is still on its way, or we owe you a refund, we do this once that is done.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page.
